The Wings have played themselves backwards into a WC free-for-all after having a 10 point cushion just 2 weeks ago, conversely the Isles have played themselves into the Wild Card race. Philly and TB sit at 65G/74pt, the Isle and Detroit at 64G/72pt, virtually neck and neck. Only 3 can make it in plus the Caps are right on the outside looking to co-opt any low hanging fruit if one of the 4 falter.

This reminds me of the more bawdy days of A2Y with a still active Command Master Chief, and a broader cast of low-lifes. Im trying to think of one name but come up short, always with a bit of surprise off-color take. Chariots body language after scoring says its over for this year.
13 shots in 15 minutes, and many just taking their time and teeing it up.
They are in a deep free fall. No team can win that many games with so many shots against. And this team cannot handle it. This will be another loss. It is my hope that Steve Yzerman realizes not enough youth on this roster and some of the draft picks play next season.

How in the hell does an entire team forget how to play hockey? Its like they just quit trying on any level.
Almost seems like the players are tuning oot the coaches.
So the rookies didnt workout a year ago. Get a bunch of veterans and now falling apart. Next year we have at least 4 players going to be overripe needing NHL jobs or become trade bait. So needless to say,next year does not seem promising.
