Going to try taking it easy tonight.

Coyotes win 4-1, the losing streak hits seven.

Team Stats

Detroit goal is below.

Yzermans veteran signings not paying off.

Not sure how a team that looked like a cup contender 2 weeks ago, looks like the worst team in the league now

VPalmer

Chicago scored 12 on them in 2 games in between us scoring 1 goal in 2 games against them, it's just crazy

Chet

defensive breakdowns? no shit, really? how is this still happening?

Paul

I'm going to make it an early night.

My procedure begins at 9am and I should be home around 11:30am. I will update when I get home, but first, I need to eat!

TreKronorPaul

Do be sure to get rest when you get home! Oh, and don't type anything here tomorrow while the drugs are still wearing off ;)

I thought Kane, Debrincat and Raymond we're all pretty good tonight. But they're all wingers so they inherently don't drive play in most cases. Charot, Walman, Ras and Copp were all terrible again. Everyone else was somewhere between average and invisible.

The team that played tonight would get dominated in a playoff series. The wings team from 3 weeks ago could beat almost anyone. Such a strange streaky season. Hopefully we see the good wings again soon.

1st goal against--> Jonny Burgers fault assist goes to Seider tripping over own feet. Berggren is awful away from the puck--whether that is from playing in the AHL and getting away with it or not being at NHL speed still: the end result is the same.

This was also the case in the recent Vegas defeat as Jonny Burgers was at fault for Vegas 1st goal of that game too.

1st goal for--> Patrick Kane gets credit for cross seam pass to Raymond. Kane's 2nd time trying that play.

Shuffle the lines. Increase the intensity of practices. Scratch a healthy top pair d-man (on Saturday) for Holl. Scratch a healthy 20 goal scorer for Czarnik who is more defensively responsible. Doesn't seem to matter. You can say its the players all you want, but a streaky team all season is on the head coach.

But everyone knows this team is too soft for the playoffs anyways. Might as well throw the hat into the draft lottery and hope to move up.

Can't complain about no calls in the playoffs--they are a different game. Think anyone is going to bail you out in a tie game during the 3rd period of a game seven?

The Wings better figure something out quickly as they have to be on fire to make the playoffs now. They let slip loser points that should have been easy to accumulate.

With or without Berggren, this team is losing. I am not sure what is going on, apparently neither do the players. A new roster is needed next season.

Next big thing is the draft pick. Hopefully, they land a decent player.

I almost didn't watch last nights game. Now I'm going to take some time away until they at least win one. I can't take the losing any more. My life is busy enough without wasting 2.5 hours watching this junk.

I don't know what Yzerman or Newsy can do to right the ship at this point or even over the summer. If I were in Yzerman's shoes, I think I'd have to fire the coach now. No, the blame isn't completely on him but a message has to be sent. Get ready for buyout period one. The last time I felt like this was during a long losing streak under Blashill where they also got spanked by the Coyotes.
