Hiya everyone and welcome. The Wings are coming off a very successful road trip and need to keep this momentum going if they are even thinking about the post season, and, they are. For the first time in years it possibly/maybe could happen, so, every game is a big game. Larkin has been playing exceptionally well lately, and his play is contagious. Suter has been noticed out there as well. Vrana had his first game back against the Caps and looked to be alright out there, so, as of this writing, I’m not sure if he’s in or out for tonight’s match.
Tonight the Wings are facing a good Rangers team, and we owe them payback for the humiliating loss in November. The Wings are playing better hockey than we’re used to, and need a great game tonight. No moral victory will suffice.
It’s the Rangers vs the Wings. The puck drops around 7:00 PM and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Detroit and the Red Wings Radio Network (97.1 The Ticket in Detroit). Also available on NHLPP/ESPN+ and MSG.
Also, there will be no quick recap tonight unless Paul has the power back up and running.
