Condition on Torontos 1st round pick is top 10 protected.
Thats a costly trade and Du(m)bas(s) has left the Leafs with only 1 pick in the 1st or 2nd round of the next 3 drafts (plus is missing a 3rd round selection over that period too).
Thats what happens when your GM is in the last year of his contract and you keep losing in the 1st round/missing the playoffs.
They have depth they havent had in years now. But the path is likely TB then BOS in the 2nd round.
Paging a Mr. Steve Yzerman to the trade floor, Mr. Yzerman several GMs were waiting to overpay you significant future capital for Tyler Bertuzzi. Again... Mr. Yzerman your presence is requested at the trade floor at this time, thank you.
