I watched that arena being built over a couple of years from my hotel next door when attending an annual trade convention.
Lots of enthusiasm for the franchise there although a few legacy hockey purists didnt like a franchise going there.
Sorry to say I stopped counting when the Conference Finals started, but your guess I imagine is pretty close.
They probably wont boo the commissioner there like they do in other markets even when presenting the Cup to their own team.
Things have gone well for this franchise building a competitive roster from day 1, so theyre probably pretty happy with him.
The only two cities who wouldn't boo Bettman would be Chicago and Pittsburgh. Maybe add the N'Y' Rangers.
I admit, I never thought hockey would work in Vegas but I was completely wrong.
Of course, having a successful team from the very beginning helps, so yeah, I would say the fans in Vegas owe Bettman and company a hearty thank you.
