I have a scheduled Dr. appointment this morning.

ETA return is by 10:30am. See you then.

Covering the trade deadline yesterday was not as tough on me as the past trade deadlines, but my eyes hurt.

Staring at a computer monitor 12-16 hours a day is not good for me so I need a relaxed day today.

For me this period after the deadline is my favorite time of the season.

No trade watch which allows me to concentrate on the playoff races and the action on the ice, just how I like it.

Thanks to all who visited KK/A2Y yesterday and please continue to do so.

added 6:57am on 2/23/23, still no power and starting to get cold.

Have been without power for 3 hours and it looks like it could be some time for it to be restored.

If you have not noticed, the right sidebar on the KK 2.0 homepage has been updated. You can find the most recent posts for all the blogs, most recent comments and my Twitter feed which I use on a regular basis (not all material is posted on KK 2.0).

Hopefully in the very near future, you will notice posts from KK and A2Y will hit Twitter within seconds instead of the normal 2-10 minute wait.

If you are a KK member and have had issues signing in for the first time, please let me know. It is an easy fix and you can re-establish your membership within minutes.

The 2.0 version of Kukla's Korner is taking shape and a few final tweaks will be done next week.

It has been a tough year for me personally with too many health issues, but here I am doing what I do. The upgrade to KK 2.0 was much bigger than I imagined but all is good now.

It's also been a burden on me financially. More costs to the website than what I planned for plus my health issues has me receiving a bill at a one per week pace. I am working on a payment plan but darn, those numbers are eye-awaking.

Most of you know the drill, you can donate through PayPal, GoFundMe or directly through your bank and Zelle (notice the new email of kuklaskorner at gmail dot com.)

Also, if you are a KK member (feel free to join), a donation of $25 removes the ads on KK. Some people have mentioned the ads on the left sidebar of the homepage. those will be gone if you donate $25 for one year.

In the comments, notice a ^ and a down arrow, which I can't find on my keyboard. A few people requested the ability to vote on a comment.

If you hover over the top right of a comment, a flag will appear. You can flag a comment as inappropriate, spam, or any other reason. I will get notified after a small amount of clicks.

Members can subscribe to a specific thread of comments made on a post. This will display a 'Subscribe' button for each comment.
