Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
For Lady Kate.
Thank you SYF. Pavel Datsyuk is the most creative NHL player ever. He once said that chess was the first sport he ever played. I remember the first time I saw him was at an open practice at the Ice Den in AZ. in November of 2001. He was all alone with probably 15 pucks lined up and was zigzagging forward and backwards with a puck on his stick, passing to himself, doing things I never saw before, and the skill level was astonishing. We wont see another player of that caliber.
Kate, Datsyuk was just amazing. My Wife and I really enjoyed watching him.
Ned starting.
Hey Paul
Have you seen the Practice power play lines for tonight's game?
Thank you
I have not. Information is hard to come by when the Wings are out west. Limited media follwoing the Wings.
Thank you
Not sure why they are not playing Suter on the power play. The PP is sinking again with no changes.
