In this man's humble opinion, I felt the first 40 minutes were the best of the season for the Wings.
No scoring in the first period, Detroit with the only goal in the second and in the third period the Wings scored early to make it 2-0.
With over 5 minutes to play in the third, Tampa pulled their goalie and quickly scored to make it 2-1. Then with just under 4 minutes to play, the Lightning again pulled their goalie but this time, Detroit scored.
Tampa again pulled their goalie down 3-1 and promptly scored. Again the Tampa net was empty with under a minute to play thus allowing the Wings to hit the empty net which they did. Final Detroit 4 Tampa Bay 2.

Great victory against the team we always lose. Husso obviously the main reason, but I also agree first 40 minutes we played very well.
A nice win against a good team. It was bombs away by Tampa during the third period.
