The Wings played a decent first 12 minutes of the first period but trailed 1-0. Detroit was on the power play bur gave up their third shorthanded goal in five games to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead.

Detroit back on the power play late in the first and they converted to make it 2-1 after 20 minutes.

The Wings scored 6 minutes into the 2nd period and we have a 2-2 game. Detrot added their third consecutive goal to put them up 3-2 at the second intermission.

Another Detroit goal early i the 3rd made it 4-2 but Boston scored with their goalie pulled with 2 1/2 minutes left.

Detroit adds an eng with 47 seconds left and thw Wings win 5-3.
