That is one big and heavy line.

Those lines have the greatest potential for scoring from all four lines that the Wings have had in a long time. I mean, come on, to have a guy like Kubalik on the 4th line is pretty amazing. And none of those lines should be a defensive liability either.

It may take them some time to gel as individual units, and I'm sure there'll be some switching around between guys like Zadina, Erne and Soderblom (if he stays in Detroit). But, as a group, they should be hard to play against and fun to watch.

What I'm most anxious to see is Perron, Copp and Vrana together. If their unit is as good as they should be, teams won't be able to load up against Bert, Larks and Raymond this year like they did before. Let the games begin.

Well, these lines are more telling than pre-season lines, but still less of an indicator than morning skate lines. My guess: Soderblom goes down, Zadina slots in, and a d-man is called up for 13F, 8 D

Soderblom is gonna stay up longer than people realize.

He's already doing better than Zadina in the preseason. We're trying to win games not prop up kid's egos because they're not as good as they originally believed they were.

Homer's number should be retired.

No one was parking people in front of the net like Det was when they had Homer and Lids.

You can see the impact the Red Wings had on the entire league and how lines are built. All just like how the Wings did when Scotty was coach.

Love Homer but not a number worth retiring. I do think it's early to be giving out his number though.

Soderblom is very intriguing- he is better than expected at this point. I say keep him up, and maybe he sticks like Raymond did. Physicality of real games will be the real test.....

Sweet I'm in...

I think Söderblom is holding a spot until Zadina is good to go daily, I think the same is true for Veleno with Copp.

Söderblom Rasmussen Sundqvist is a playoff line beast of a matchup

TheMeal

I'm fine with Soderblom getting a 9 game trial in the big league.  In the preseason games I watched, I was surprisingly impressed with Veleno and Kubalik.
