Reminiscing On His Days With The Wings

“It was one superstar in Detroit, next to another. I was lucky enough to play in Detroit with Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzén or Pavel Datsyuk. Even in the position of defender, here we played Nicklas Lidström.

“They took turns there, they were world-class superstars, all like each other. It was a pleasure to play with them, really.”

Who said it?  Bob Duff of Detroit Hockey Now has more on this former Wing/

I could relay some stories of Hudler’s time in GR from girls that dated him and were around him that would sicken most of you.

If you want to get a NSFW (uncensored) peek of what the Czech paparazzi actually could publish. Here is the link.

I was not surprised at all when it was reported he asked a Delta airlines flight attendant for “coke” coming out of the flight’s bathroom and she brought him a can of Coke soda (because she misunderstood his actual request) for him to get upset and say no I want cocaine and then attempt to urinate on the drink cart.

Hudler running to the KHL (because he was a RFA and was still a 3rd line player on the Wings who were maxed at the cap—but yet he wanted top 6 money—which the KHL provided by way of tax free contracts, team provided cars, apartments, food allowances, etc) and coming back to the NHL out of shape with 20 pts less in the regular season told me all I wanted to know about his on-ice dedication as the off-ice stuff I already knew about.

So I don’t want to hear about him reminiscing on his Wings days: he was a large part of the problem why those Wings teams weren’t more successful despite having Z, Dats, and Kronwall in the 2010, ‘11, and ‘12 playoff years.

This might be the first one of these I’ve guessed correctly. VP left a couple extra clues so give ‘em the primary assist!
