Svechnikov on now, 42 minutes into the show.  He spent 2 months with his brother in Carolina and they hit the beach every weekend.

Blashill stressing caution with DeKeyser who had a serious back injury, it may take him some time to get in game shape.

The amount of time DeKeyser has missed combined with
the need for most prospects who are close to helping to play abroad
is partly why I don’t mind adding not only Merrill but Staal on the left side.
Of course the 2nd round pick itself and possibility of flipping Staal probably justified it anyway. But as much as we’d like to pencil DeKeyser back into the top four it may take a while. He can be a stabilizing player and it’s best to make sure he’s careful in his return.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
