from Peter J. Wallner of Mlive,
The Grand Rapids Griffins will certainly look differently this season thanks to a number of offseason moves.
The team, under the direction of first-year coach Ben Simon, will be without three of its top four scorers along with both of its top two goalies.
Here are the gone Griffins:
FORWARDS:
Ben Street Street enjoyed his best two consecutive seasons as a pro with the Griffins. The centre led the team in scoring last year with 65 points (21-44-65) and was an assistant captain. He signed with the Anaheim Ducks/San Diego Gulls.
Eric Tangradi A fan favorite for his physical play and production, Tangradi had his most productive season in eight years as a pro with 31-33-64 to place second on the team in scoring. He was also an assistant captain. Last week he signed a deal with the New Jersey Devils/Binghamton Devils.
