Video- Milan Lucic Suspended Two Games

NEW YORK (Nov. 3, 2019) – Calgary Flames forward Milan Lucic has been suspended for two games, without pay, for roughing Columbus Blue Jackets forward Kole Sherwood during NHL Game No. 211 in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 2, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 4:52 of the second period. Lucic was assessed two minor penalties for roughing.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Lucic will forfeit $64,516.12. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
