i'm neither a lover nor a hater of the leafs. on the one hand, it's fun to watch their very savage and brutal futility over the past decade(s), but on the other, they're good fans and they deserve a winner. now that it's been a good while since detroit won a cup, i've started to be a lot more sympathetic. little chance detroit doesn't avoid a 20-year cup drought at their current rebuild pace.

i can't say i agree completely with how toronto has been building their teams, but it's fun every spring to watch and see what happens, and so far, how they manage to blow it. every. year.
