Gauthiers situation reminds me of Lindros.

It seems obvious Gauthier wasn't interested in playing for Torts, and the trade will likely work out for both parties.

Word is Philly didnt want a bonus overage carrying into this season, so they didnt want to sign Gauthier at the end of last year. They certainly didnt intend it as any kind of an insult, but things were never the same after this happened.
