Chris Higgins Blending In -- Till Halloween, Anyway

03/11/2011 at 5:01pm EST

From the basement to the penthouse, Chris Higgins has experienced quite a turn in his fortunes in the last week or so. From Ed Willes at The Province:

On Thursday night, he played a regular shift with the NHL’s best team in a 5-4 shootout win over the San Jose Sharks in what might have been the Canucks’ game of the year.

Afterwards, Higgins was asked about the turn in his fortunes.

“Obviously, I didn’t have a lot of games like this in Florida,” he said.

Indeed. From the 25th ranked team in the league to the 1st (for the moment, anyway, *knock on wood*), it must be quite a trip. And if he lasts in Vancouver till Halloween, he promises to give Canucks fans even more entertainment:

I just wonder what the Village People thing looks like when done in West Coast style?
