I had said 4-4-1 so I was off by a point. Their strong start had me nervous for a minute but regression to the mean came in clutch!

I didnt take a look back then.  This is pretty fair I guess 4-3-2.  Many of these opponents were not top half or playoff teams.

Buffalo does have some really good young talent.  The Wings have a couple of outstanding young players, but Dahlin, Power, Mittlestadt, and this beast Thompson are all impact players.  Unless the Wings do in fact commit to limiting chances its going to be another long season with putting their goalies out to dry.  If you give up 50 shots on goal it is likely the goalies are going to gaff on a couple of them.

And the site does seem to be working really well posting comments, the best its been yet.

I said 5-4, but I guess that was a bit optimistic. But the same number of points!

Yeah, the Wings really stunk it up last night, but let's be fair. That was their fifth game in the last nine days. And they were missing four of their normal top-nine forwards (make it five of nine if you include Fabbri). So I'm not all that upset about the result.

What does concern me is the play of Seider and Copp. I don't know what the heck is going on with Mo. Something's just not right, but I'm sure he'll figure it out sooner rather than later. On the other hand, Copp is a huge disappointment. Hopefully it's just that he's still getting over his injury/surgery. But right now, I'd rather see Veleno as the second-line center.

I predicted 6-3, should have known better.

I predicted 3-5-1 and a rocky start. It has been rocky, but still their record is good considering 4 forwards are out.
