Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
No game tonight involving the wild card teams.
Tomorrow we have NYI at Columbus and Pittsburgh at Washington.
Pittsburgh at Washington
Boy, that's going to be a big game. Hopefully no OT!
As we play Pittsburgh on the road on April 11, we really need them to be out by then.
Every time I think the Penguins are out of it, they claw their way back in. UGH! At least the Devils are now out of the mix.
These probabilities are just kind of funny. The Flyers have no momentum and hobbling out of their previously firmly established playoff spot.
Flyers have objectively the easiest schedule of all contending teams
This logjam is Bettman's dream.🙃
Maybe it's just me but as a fan I enjoy it being tight like it is in the East. Looking at the west, it's pretty much set...the only question is if STL can catch LA, which is going to be tough.
I would prefer my team not be one of five teams fighting for two spots, but if it's not my team I'm grabbing my popcorn and getting ready for an excellent next couple weeks of hockey.
That's pretty funny.
Ditto! :-)
