After the first period, NJD 15 shots, DRW 4 shots. Devils up 1-0 and yes Devils dominated the play, Wings were chasing and trying to connect on passes.
Detroit also lost Darren Helm with an upper-body injury after getting hit and falling to the ice on his right arm. He left the ice hold his wrist area which could also mean he was trying to stabilize his shoulder area. All the Wings stated was upper-body injury.
