Trevor Daley will play in his 1000th NHL game when the Detroit Red Wings face the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday.

The 35-year-old Red Wings defenseman has six points (two goals, four assists) in 28 games this season and 300 points (89 goals, 211 assists) in 999 career games.

Trevor Moore was recalled from Toronto of the American Hockey League on Sunday and will make his NHL debut for the Maple Leafs. He has 24 points (17 goals, seven assists) in 27 AHL games this season.

The Maple Leafs will be without forward Tyler Ennis, who broke his ankle in Toronto's 5-3 victory against the New York Rangers on Saturday.

Goaltender Garret Sparks will start for the Maple Leafs, who are looking for their fourth-straight win.

Detroit is without forward Andreas Athanasiou, who will not play because of an upper body injury.

Goaltender Jonathan Bernier will start for the Red Wings, who are 1-4-1 in their past six games. Detroit is playing their second of back-to-back games after losing 2-1 to the Florida Panthers on Saturday.
