“We’ve got to play our game, play the way that we play, but certainly you want to make sure you give enough respect to Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg,” Senator coach Paul MacLean said this morning. “They’re world class players, so we have to be aware of them when they’re on the ice, much like when we play anyone else that has those types of players. You have to be aware of them when they’re on the ice. They have the ability to make something out of nothing, and they can disappear on the ice then all of a sudden show up in the right spot, and the puck’s going to be there. you really have to make sure you’re aware when they’re out there. But at the same time you can’t give them all kinds of time and space. You have to be able to shorten the rink on them, and make them play in tight spaces.”
