What Time Is It?

02/11/2014 at 3:53pm EST

I amot sure if you have noticed, but most of the hockey news is coming out of Sochi these days.

News starts filtering in around 1:00am ET and stops around 4:00pm ET.

Over the last three days I have been up by 5:00am and will continue on that schedule through the Quarterfinal round.

Then the games are played at a more reasonable time so no real early mornings are needed.

This time zone difference did not really hit me until today when I realized I've been working some very unique hours.

Luckily I do work out of my home office and I do have a couch available if needed but I don't think I will be doing much couch time once the games begins.

I do hope most of you will find a way to watch the games live because in this day and age, it is hard to "hide" from a score.
