TORONTO (January 24, 2013) – Overnight data from BBM Canada confirms that last night’s NHL ON TSN match-up featuring Toronto @ Pittsburgh was watched by an average audience of 1.4 million viewers – the network’s most-watched regular season NHL game since 2009.

Overall, nearly 4.8 million Canadians watched some part of the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Audience levels peaked at 2.2 million viewers on TSN with just under two minutes left in the third period.
