Videos- There In No HNIC Tonight But Thankfully We Have Related Material

I was raised on Hockey Night in Canada, adored the stars of the period and to this day, I tune in whenever I am able to.

Living on a border town has its advantages!

So let's take a look at three videos I have picked out for tonight.

HNIC intros from 1977-2015.

Three more videos below.

The first HNIC broadcast.

Why can't I recall Ken Daniels (current play by play man for the Wings) doing Coach's Corner?

This is a promo for HNIC in 1967 but what is important to me is at the :44 mark, Henri Richard scored a controversial OT goal, Stanley Cup winner against the Wings in 1966.  I have never found a video of it, but now here it is.  The complaint was he pushed the puck in with his hand.  You can see goalie Roger Crozier starting to go to the ref to complain.
