Yes philly got owned in points… but from the look of those fights I think Wsh just got their asses wooped.

At the end of the day, all that counts and all that really will be remembered will be the points in the standings. A few more of these one-sided debacles and the the Flyers will be looking for another coach and a new GM as well.

Given his record and given the totally unprovoked nature of his attack, Emery deserves at least a 20 game suspension.  Of course, considering the way the Flyers are playing, making him play the next 20 games might be more punishment.

Simmonds probably should also get a suspension.  His two charges that precipitated the whole mess were intended to injure (reading minds and player’s history) and he should get a brief unpaid vacation, like 4 games.
