Between the phantom face off penalties and these ridiculous goalie interference penalties the calls are a joke. Just because Shanahan blew the vicious head blow by Lucic on Miller last year, doesn’t mean we have to shut down all goal scoring. It isn’t as if there are enough goals to wave off to begin with.

This is getting out of control and absolutely ridiculous. The league needs to put a stop to this as soon as possible. It is a blight on the game.

It seems like there’s 31 teams in the league this year. The 30 you would expect and then the refs. They seem intent on making an impact on every game. Unfortunately it’s almost always a negative impact.
