Telephone hearing for Perry today, meaning no more than five game suspension.

Should be more than 5 games. If Kaleta’s hit on Richards was 5, I think this had more intent to injure. Should be a minimum of 10.

It didn’t look that bad to me. Zucker passes the puck in a dangerous spot along the boards and has his head turned admiring the pass like a fool. The approach and timing seemed perfectly fine and legal to me. It’s unfortunate he got him in the head. I’m not the biggest Perry fan in the world, but I don’t know if this is even suspension-worthy.

Deserving of a suspension, of course, but I don’t see the clear intent to injure.

Perry never even looks at the puck. He stares down Zucker the entire time after he bumps into him going for the puck. Never takes his eyes off nails him in the head, blind-side.. If that’s not intent to injure then it doesn’t exist.

Jesus that was dirty. Duck’s will probably throw in a bonus in his contract offer for that hit. Completely intent to injure, didn’t like the guy hustling past him a second before, puck was long gone, took the elbow and went high with all his weight behind it. Disgusting disgusting hockey and trash of a human being.
