Who will be the next to go?

After the Dion Phaneuf trade, it seems that almost anything is possible for the rebranding Maple Leafs with a roster entirely in play. Virtually every Leafs player not named Morgan Rielly, Jake Gardiner, James van Riemdsyk and Leo Komarov has been made available in advance of next Monday’s NHL trade deadline.

“You have to understand, these are not Lou Lamoriello’s players,” said an NHL executive. “These are not Mark Hunter’s draft picks. These are not Mike Babcock’s players.

“So there is no one claiming: ‘This is my guy or this is your guy.’ The Leafs want as clean a slate as you can get and, if that takes moving just about everybody, then that’s what’s going to happen.”

The question then becomes who? And for what?
