Former Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma is one of six finalists for the Florida Panthers head coaching vacancy.
Panthers general manager Dale Tallon confirmed the list of finalists to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger at the general manger meetings in New York on Wednesday.
The other leading candidates are Ron Wilson, Canadiens' assistant Gerard Gallant, Red Wings assistants Bill Peters and Tom Renney as well as former Dallas Stars head coach Marc Crawford.
Also, Harvery Fialkov of the Sun Sentinel tweeted earlier he has heard the new coach will be announced on Monday.
