GAWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

... the Isles don’t have a goaltender.

Takes. whole team, and the Isles look a year or two away. Boy, the Pens don’t look very special yet.  Next round they better arrive.

Special or not they are moving on.  Pens PK was very good. We will see if it was a match up problem or a team issue.

Brooks Orpik and Barret Jackman, plodding veteran d-men who have never scored before in the playoffs and probably never should… are scoring OT playoff goals this year.

Ladies and gentlemen:  Your 2013 NHL State of the Game.

The Sens will be 180 from this series: tight checking, heavy hitting, great goaltending. If MAF was on his game, this series is tilted to the Pens easily. Pens still should hold court, but Andersson and Karlsson are major wild cards.

The Isles really surprised me with their play in this series.
Well done!

It’s a sign of a great team when you still win when playing badly in my opinion. However, they will definitely need to turn up their game for round 2.
