from Eric Stephens of Ducks Blog,
They'll need to look at retaining would-be unrestricted free agents Ben Lovejoy and David Steckel but both wouldn't cost too much. Kyle Palmieri is restricted and shouldn't price the Ducks out of their budget.
If anything, Toni Lydman, who's making $3 million this season, figures to be the odd man out. Moving Luca Sbisa isn't likely but would free up an additional $2.175 million of cap space as well as open up another spot for top prospects Sami Vatanen and Hampus Lindholm.

There might be issues in the future when the contracts for goalie Jonas Hiller and winger Bobby Ryan come up. Hiller is signed through next season but the Ducks extended Viktor Fasth two more years and have U.S. national junior team star John Gibson in the fold.
Ryan might be tougher to hold on to but he's still signed for the next two seasons. The Ducks could have a crunch then as the contracts for key support players Andrew Cogliano and Daniel Winnik are up as well as young centers Nick Bonino and Peter Holland.
