Garf Snow has made a lot of bad gambles. My guess is the best he can do is a 6th rounder this year.

He makes bad gambles, but there always seems to be other GMs willing to bail out those who make these bad moves. Itll be ridiculous if anyone gives him anything for Boyles rights.

For all the crap Snow takes, he at least does something and tries, recognizing the franchise’s weaknesses.
Unlike the clowns in Edmonton, who can’t get anyone to come to town either but still live under the delusion that players will still come like Gretzky is still there.
I’m not a Snow fan, but I won’t give him crap for leveraging what he can.

In case you need a refresher, the Islanders gave up a 5th round draft choice to acquire Boyle.
If he would have signed with them, it would have turned into a 4th round pick.
