Bob McKenzie tweets,

UFA F Zach Parise, recently bought out by MIN, has some offers to consider. Likely to make a decision in next 24 hours. Parise did recently pay a visit to NYI. Obvious connection with NYI GM Lou Lamoriello.

Meanwhile, nothing official by any means, but lots of chatter about Ryan Suter and DAL. Suter, of course, also bought out by MIN at same time as Parise. DAL looking to replace Jamie Oleksiak.

Elliotte Friedman tweets,

As expected, CBJ F Patrik Laine accepts his qualifying offer. So, his salary for the season is $7.5M.

What's TB's history? Hedman, Kucherov & Vasilevskiy all extended one year before those contracts took effect. Something to watch tomorrow -- Brayden Point. One year remaining in current deal. Thinking eight years, around Kucherov & Vasilevskiy's $9.5M AAV.

Frank Seravlli tweets,

Reminder: A team's ability to offer an 8-year deal to their own pending UFA expires at 11:59 pm ET tonight.

Hearing #Canes are closing in on an agreement with UFA D Tony DeAngelo.

Not done yet. But expecting a 1-year deal. There was lots of interest and the opportunity to play for Rod Brind'Amour was appealing.

Flyers will be signing D Keith Yandle to a one-year contract worth $900k.

Pierre LeBrun tweets,

Potential fits for Ryan Getzlaf if indeed he leaves Anaheim via free agency …
Edmonton, Montréal, Dallas, Boston.

Veteran agent Don Meehan also confirms same to me, Phil Danault headed to market Wednesday. Which is no surprise, we reported a few weeks ago Habs were comfortable letting Danault see what’s out there. While keeping door open
