ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has placed forward Jaden Schwartz on injured reserve with a right ankle injury.
Schwartz, who suffered the injury during the Blues' 6-1 win in Detroit on Saturday, is scheduled to be re-evaluated in six weeks.
Schwartz, 25, shares ninth in the NHL overall with 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) and ranks second with a +23 rating through 30 games this season.
