If Only One Canadian Team Makes The Playoffs, Is It Bad For The NHL?

from Bruce Garrioch of Off The Posts,

I don’t happen to think one Canadian team in the playoffs is good thing. I think it’s bad for hockey myself. The Leafs being there, whether people like it or not, is good for business.

The people at CBC must be choked by what they are witnessing.

I think what’s bad for the NHL is the continuing talking about the Canadian teams as one unit, and perpetuating the Us vs Them mentality.

Do you really think if the Leafs miss out they would want the Habs to do anything except get swept in the first round?

Totally agree Primis!!

Hockey seems to be thriving whether a Canadian teams make the playoffs or not. End of story.

This has to stop.

Please, Canada, make it stop.

You’re better than this.

This isn’t a thing in Canada. Believe me, no one talks about it. It’s just that every filler article that covers this topic shows up on this blog. That is all.

They deserve to have their ratings tank for hiring Strombo.  I wonder if the lower US taxes and better US weather have anything to do with talent disparity???  Plus some players have to get fed up with insufferable Canadian media and fans.
