Edmonton Oilers Name Craig Ramsay Assistant Coach

This is welcome news on a couple of fronts. In Ramsay, the Oilers have added a respected voice, a man who has excelled as both a player and a coach. After a great career as a two-way forward with Buffalo Sabres — nearly Hall of Fame worthy, in the opinion of the writer — Ramsay has filled a variety of coaching roles with a variety of NHL teams since the mid-1980s.
