Don Cherry wears loud suit, blames European favoritism for Marchand's lack of production

06/24/2013 at 10:07pm EDT

The Twitterverse is grumpy, the beat writers are grumpy, the broadcasters are dippy and Don Cherry delivered exactly what you'd expect on June 24th, a performance in a brand-new suit in which he suggests that the Boston Bruins have wrecked their second line and Brad Marchand's scoring potential for the sake of playing Jaromir Jagr there to assuage losing the Jarome Iginla sweepstakes. And he and Ron MacLean wished a happy 80th birthday to Bob Cole. Otherwise, methinks the lobster served to the press was laced with some sort of sedative that makes you both very dippy and very agitated.
