[W]hen teams at this week’s NHL Draft Combine ask what type of player Brendan Lemieux hopes to be, the 18-year-old prospect does not shy away from familial comparisons.
“I want to be a young Claude Lemieux,” said Brendan Lemieux, while sitting at a hotel restaurant where the combine is being held. “That’s the style I want to play. That’s the model. If that means there’s comparisons, then so be it. I’m happy to be compared to him.”

Lemieux finished this season with 145 penalty minutes and had three fights. But he also scored 27 goals and 53 points in 65 games — and led the Colts with seven goals in 11 playoff games — an indicator that the agitating forward can hurt opponents in a variety of ways.
Traikos continues, and let's just say that every team plans on interviewing the 28th-ranked North American skater.
