Chicago Blackhawks defeat Kings in double OT, head to Stanley Cup Final

06/09/2013 at 12:04am EDT

It was wild and woolly, but the Chicago Blackhawks scored the game's first goal and the game's last goal in a 4-3 double overtime victory over the Los Angeles Kings. Patrick Kane scored the gamer in what was, ironically, the longest game in Kings history, propelling the Blackhawks to a Western Conference playoff championship and a Stanley Cup Final berth against Boston over the course of 5 games.

The Stanley Cup Final will begin on Wednesday, June 12th in Chicago.
