Leave OT the same, and eliminate the shoot out FOREVER.

Leave 3 on 3 the same, but extend it to 10 minutes. If still tied after 10 minutes the game ends in a tie.

I can't stand 3x3 and want it to go away entirely. In some ways with all the circling back and waiting for someone to stumble it's less like hockey than a shootout and I would rather watch the skills competition than OT as it stands now.

they need to figure out some kind of over and back rule, like if you enter the zone you at least have to attempt a shot. watching teams hold onto the puck and regroup for half of overtime is absolutely awful. i can't believe it's taken them this long to even bring it up. the consequences for it could be anything from:

- if you purposely regroup, you have to dump the puck to the other team and get back onside;

- minor penalty

- treat it like icing and have a draw in the regrouping team's zone

of course, this will only add more room for errors and interpretation. is a purposeful whiff on a shot an attempt? do you allow them to regroup to center or do they have to stay in the O-zone? not for me to say.

Make the red line the offside line going both ways. Or even opposite blue lines, if you want to get wacky. But if all your skaters have to go way back to their own zone to tag up, there won't be so much ragging.

Also, any penalty in OT is a penalty shot. 

I cannot stand the regroup. It goes against the best elements of 3 on 3 hockey. Get rid of the ability to regroup and you'll see even more games decided in 3 on 3 instead of the dreaded shootout.

I don't think it should be a penalty so maybe a faceoff in the opponents zone is enough. Let the officials on ice make the call. No replays for this please.

10 minutes 3 on 3. Bring back ties. Throw the shootout in the trash where it belongs. Teams that tie are awarded zero points. Losers are awarded zero points. If you intentionally withdraw from the offensive zone with the puck, it results in an icing call.
