These rues will make special teams even more important than now and I personally think the game should be decided 5 on 5, so for that reason i do not like it. Ref mistakes will also become more important when you can score unlimited amount of goals on PP.

Totally agree VP. I hope this not get adopted by the NHL. The refs already have to much say on the game's outcome, this would make it even worse. Draft Kings might like it

The idea has been around for a while, and at first I liked it in theory, but I have my doubts after thinking about it for years. I'd be afraid that the refs would be even MORE reluctant to call penalties, since the impact on the game is so much greater.

I really like the idea that a shorthanded goal cancels the powerplay, same goes if it's a 5 on 3, it goes back to 5 on 5. I have been telling this point to people for years now.

I dont like any of them.

Endless scoring on minor penalties hate it.

PP even if goal scored before whistle absolutely hate it.

Shorthanded goals end power plays hate it the least but still dont like it.

these sound like Gary Buttman initiatives

I'd much rather see that play is extended beyond regulation or OT if there is still time left on a penalty. This only applies if the game is tied or the team taking the penalty is leading by one goal. For a major penalty, the amount of the lead would not matter.

I hate when a player takes a 2 minute penalty in the last 10 seconds of a game but his team is only punished for 10 seconds.

Gotta say that I love these ideas in theory, but the comments above have indeed made me think again.
