Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has acquired a third-round pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Luke Schenn.
"We would like thank Luke for his contributions to the organization," said Allvin. "He was a leader on our hockey team and helped several our players during his time here. We are excited to get a third-round pick as we continue to build out the depth of our prospect pool."

Even if Toronto gets past the first round, is it really considered a success if they lose in the 2nd? Toronto's goaltending is still weaker than all the teams they'll likely face.
