TSN, Sportsnet: Flames to sign T.J. Brodie to 5-year extension today

Per TSN...

The Calgary Flames are expected to complete a contract extension with defenceman TJ Brodie on Monday. The deal is believed to be for five years, in the range of $23 million, according to TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie.
The 24-year-old has three goals and four assists in seven games this season for the Flames, as well as a plus-5 rating.
The Flames selected the Chatham, Ontario native with the 114th pick in the fourth round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Brodie made his NHL debut during the 2010-11 campaign and posted a career best four goals and 27 assists in 81 games last season.

The Calgary Flames defenceman T.J. Brodie will finalize a five-year, $23.25 million contract with the club on Monday, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
Elliotte Friedman on Twitter: “Hearing Brodie AAV will be $4.65M when deal is done, likely tomorrow. Five-year contract.”
