Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson is the best goaltender in the Eastern Conference, according to TSN Hockey Analyst Jamie McLennan's first quarter edition of the Post2Post rankings.
Anderson, who is 7-3-2 in 12 games this season is a top five goaltender in the league in wins, goals-against-average, save percentage and shutouts.
"Anderson has dominated games and been the best goalie as far as consistency," McLennan said.
Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins and the ageless Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils round out the top three in the East.
"Brodeur still has it at 40," McLennan stated. "I never should doubt the all-time best goalie."
With a 5-3-3 record and a 1.92 GAA, Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators is the top netminder in the Western Conference.
