Well, this is a promising start. Like I said yesterday, I this 10 games wouldn't be outrageous considering how blatant this is and his past.

Would I like to see more? Yeah, but that's not going to happen. 

This suspension is going to impact their run to make the playoffs, no doubt. 

Wilson is a repeat offender, the DOPS will do very little for such. Not sure even sure why they review anything... they do nothing for the worst. But when Perron did what he did, they threw him in the slammer quite quickly. DOPS is a joke... and everyone knows it. Look at who is running it. 

5 games max.   Player Safety is going to conclude that what David Perron did was worse despite all of the mitigating circumstances in that case, and the total lack of them in Wilsons case.  

DOPS is such a running joke.  Got ZERO confidence in their competence.

That was nasty and deliberately fierce, finished with a whipsaw action.  Repeat goon. If Perron got six games, Wilson should be done for the regular season.

Get away from Perron being the Gold Standard of suspensions. 6?  Pffftt.... Thats, certified NHL BS. 

The longer they delay this meeting the less it might impact the Capitals. There is no reason they can't have a Zoom meeting within 48 hours. Of course it is probably the CBA that prevents that.
