Goalies are kind of an interesting category. They are, statistically, one of the more "you know what you are getting" type of players - especially when it comes to fitting in on a team. It's less about how they adapt to structures and gel with the guys, and more about them doing what they've been doing.
Yet, each year, few goalies are moved. I think maybe it's a little more difficult to shuffle around cap hits when dealing with the position. Plus, most teams enter the season with a good idea of who their goalies are going to be and plan to stick with them.
