Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review had McDavid 5th in his Hart voting.
I looked to see if Rorabaugh also voted for Crosby, but surprisingly he did not.
He doesnt appear to be a homer, BUT he voted Bergeron 4th in Selke and left Karlsson completely off Norris voting.
the Bergeron one is almost as inexcusable as the McDavid fiasco.
and while I think Karlsson getting the Norris is awful, Im not sure if would have left him off the ballot entirely.
Seth's a good guy, I met him at 2008 SCF when he was working for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He ran a popular blog at the paper called Empty Netters and wrote about things the beat writers didn't.
Good to hear, Paul.
I think his reasoning for voting McDavid 5th would come down to: if you remove this guy, how much worse is that team? Edmonton would have drai, vs. sorokin (isles goalie) missing would make the isles face plant. But he hasnt addressed it and may never choose to do so.
id be interested to hear his arguments
