from Patrick Hoffman of Inside The Rink,
The Internet is great for hockey fans. It gives fans the most up-to-date information on their favorite teams, players, content creators, and more.
With that said, finding hockey information wasn’t always that easy. Sure, you could go to NHL.com, ESPN.com, and other national media websites, but those sites weren’t great for hockey fans at the time. There is one site still running today that was able to bring and link to every possible hockey news item, whether it was a trade, draft pick, free agency, team news, and notes, etc.
This is a site that many people in the hockey world use every single day, and it is run by a gentleman who deserves a lot of recognition. That man would be Paul Kukla of Kukla’s Korner.
Paul has been running Kukla’s Korner for a very long time. He is actually considered by many to be the “godfather of hockey bloggers.”
I appreciate the kind words Patrick.
Congrats Paul!!!
Good to see the word getting out.
Something the 19 have known about for decades!!
Nice write-up and some well-deserved praise for our tireless leader. And I think Hoffman is spot-on with his description of Paul as the Godfather. He's definitely the kind of guy who'd leave the gun and take the cannoli. :-)
Hail to the Godfather. You are the best. Keep it up Paul
Stick taps all around for the Boss, Paul Kukla. Were all getting anxious for this season to begin. Eh?😉☘
Mr Hoffman's story checks out.
Good stuff Paul.
So so true! You truly are the godfather and I hope you know we all appreciate you so much. For many of us (probably more than 19 but lets go with 19) you have been our primary starting point each day for all things hockey for as long as I can remember. A very well deserved write up!
Well, Rocky, er Paul, there are a hell of a lot out there that like you it seems and deservedly so.
