via the NHL PR department,

QUARTET OF TEAMS LOOK TO DRAW EVEN AS FIRST ROUND CONTINUES
The Islanders, Panthers, Stars and Oilers all look to even their First Round series at two games apiece when the puck drops for their respective Game 4s. Eight of the nine First Rounds since the NHL realigned in 2013-14 have at least half of its series require at least six games, including seven of eight in 2022. The others: 2021 (5), 2019 (5), 2018 (4), 2017 (4), 2016 (5), 2015 (6) and 2014 (6).

Today's schedule is below.

Well, if I knew how to do it, I would post my pictures of Chloe Grace Moretz, Kevin James and the "Solider of the Game" from I believe the Korean War getting his jersey from Benoit Hogue.   The other big event were the "General Tso's Chicken Nuggets" which are FABULOUS, were the highlight of my time at the UBS Arena this afternoon.  The Refs sure made some curious calls today -but - clearly - Carolina was the better team today.  The Isles played good for 5 minutes before they got into a downward spiral after that second penalty.  Game three was a GLORIOUS time and the place was rocking and the party went on.   It's such a great place to see a game and that said - I miss the Coliseum terribly!   This is almost as good as the Coli.

I can't even get mad over the game - because the team collectively played bad hockey and this is with a Carolina team that has significant injuries and a second string goalie.  Just goes to show you that the difference between wining and losing is razor thin.   In each series it seems that each team wins a game big and loses one big and the rest are one goal games. Just some stupid penalties, some bad coverages, some lazy plays by players and poor discipline.  Not like the way the team played in CAR or Game 3.  A well deserved loss.

I am going to lay low for the rest of the night.

Enjoy the remaining games.

Bertuzzi with a goal and an assist for Boston today. They were all over Florida.

rumbear

I been out playing with airplanes today. Just watched some highlights from the Panthers game.  Good on Bert!!  Getting the most out of his opportunity scoring goals and chalking up assists!!!

Chet

Edmonton is such a dangerous team, and Im starting to envision a world where theyre out in Round 1. What do they even do if that happens? Maybe get a real goalie for once?

Ukey

3-0 L.A. after 1! Tone is changing as Kings seem confident and Oilers shaking their heads.  Two big periods left. Oilers need to change the tone/momentum quickly.

Ukey

As Yogi would say"It's deja vu all over again" 4-4 and on to OT . Can the Oilers win one after 2 straight OT wins by L.A.?
